We’re moving to Slack!

At CTS, we believe in the value of transparent and clear communication and want you to stay up-to-date with the most relevent news regarding CTS and our services. Currently, we’ve been using both WhatsApp and Viber as communication tools but due to many limitations of these platforms, we needed a better solution. For those reasons, we’re moving our chat communication over to an application called Slack. We understand that many of us are hesitant about adding yet another chat tool in our growing list of apps but Slack has some key advantages for our congegrgation:

  • We can very easily create groups, called channels in Slack, for specific events and services.

  • Slack is available everywhere so you can stay in communication from your phone, tablet or computer and is not tied to your phone number.

  • You have complete control over your notification perferences per each Slack channel.

  • Much better search options.

  • See chat history on any channel to catch up.

We invite you to join Slack by doing the following two steps:

Get the App.

Step 2.

Join our community on Slack.

We understand that the switch will not be immediate for many of us so we’ll be gradually making the transition to give a chance for all our church congregants to download the app and become familiar with it’s features.

Additionally, we invite you to seek technical assistance from Steve or Jack following Sunday services so that we can help troubleshoot any issues you may encounter.
